storyboard

busy. working on an old storyboard again. this time in co-operation with my dear friend indre who's participating with poetic texts.
the result to be seen in berlin, june 25-27.

as promised - some more still lifes from the sculptor kristina johlige's home.

blue-green love

glass jars from my homeland (latvia), made in the 60s-80s. i know them as far as i can remember myself - they were used for preserving home-made jams or pickles.
i really love the quality of this light greenish blue glas, the unevenness of the surface, and the shape - which is classic.
i use them mostly for storage of all possible small collectibles.
but i decided to slim down my collections. so i did it, i put them in the shop - here you are!

papier royal

a little foto-shooting on a rainy day with kristina who created this fellini-esque paper hat.
the location - an abandoned house, at the feet of the alps.

there are quite many empty houses, some of them really beautiful or funny, like this one, called haus sorgenfrei ("maison sans-souci" / "villa trouble-free")

still life

yesterday... all my troubles seemed so far away na na na... i spent a wounderful day with kristina at her home full of fascinating details..

anti-tourist postcards

one method how to cope with my fernweh (a genious word in german, meaning "longing for the faraway", "longing to get away") is - to do something with the old images shot the last time i was in... copenhagen, for example.

so i thought of layouting some postcards.

as i'm well aware that there wouldn't be many people who would like to send a card like this, i'll let them print as moo-cards (moo.com), in edition of 1-3.

sunshine award

normally i never win awards. still today i got one - a sunshine award, passed over from lilla a - a lovely blog owned by a creative mom from sweden. thank you for this acknowledgment!!
i'd like to give this award over to... isabell from blueberry fields. i'm really enjoying her blog - the photos, the stories, but most of all - her writing. she is a wonderful story-teller, it feels like you were sitting there and listening to her. no matter how long, isabell's texts are always easy to read and contain a good portion of humour...

i bought this book 2003 as a gift to bring back home from my trip to america for paul (who was 10 at that time).
(can't believe it's almost ten years ago! but the contents of the book is still up-to-date ;)
