a little foretaste of the opening of my exhibition on the 16th of april: some of the vinyls i'm going to play. i just love love love these cover designs! here some fragments:

raimonds pauls - the king of the latvian pop

the beatles, early years (this will be the opening music, yesssss!)

stephen tintin duffy: icing on the cake

ella fitzgerald (these neon-bright letters - brrrrrr)

estonian "estraadi ansambel" laine
(oh, truffaut would have gone crazy for these legs;)

Das Fitzgerald in den kyrillischen Buchstaben ist toll. Auf einem T-Shirt sieht das sicher gut aus. :)

The Raimonds Pauls cover is strangely hypnotic ...
It makes me curious to hear some of his music.
The Ella F cover is really cool!

@lambert: yes, that's one of my favourite covers too. some of his music is really good, especially the classics from the 60s, 70s...

some comments above (pappelschnee) had a great idea: ellas' name in kyrillics would looks great on a t-shirt ;)

heute kam deine einladung zu der ausstellung. so schade, an dem tag sitzen wir im zug von hamburg zurück. ich finde die idee mit den schallplatten sehr stimmig. ganz viel erfolg für den tag.
